'2023 Sharing, a gift beyond that! 'Give wings to healing shoes'

(Project to send sneakers to children in developing countries)

 

Bluecross Medical Volunteer continues the spirit of sharing of Dr. Chang Kee-ryo, Korea's Schweitzer. It has been 26 years since we started being active under the name 'Bluecross'.

By ending this year and celebrate by another miracle of sharing, we prepared the '2023 Wings to Healing Shoes' event, in which all citizens can participate.

This is the chance look after my neighbours in developing countries and also share happinese with my family, friends, and co-workers.I hope you end the year with a meaningful time and plan a hopeful new year.

○ Date: Saturday, December 23, 2023, 10:00 am to 12:30 pm (registration starts at 9:30)

○ Location: National Assembly Hall Conference Room (National Assembly Station Line 9, Exit 1, 6 ) / Free parking available)

○ Eligibility: Anyone(at least an elementary school student) who has a warm heart can apply/ Individuals or groups can also apply (Limited to 400 people on a first-come, first-served basis due to the National Assembly's number limit)

○ Purpose: In celebration of the 26th anniversary of the Dr. Chang memorial Bluecross Medical Volunteer, we reflect on the spirit of sharing while thinking of our neighbours in developing countries whom COVID-19 further alienates.

○ Volunteer activity: Used shoe work and writing messages of hope to safely deliver sneakers to people living poverty in Laos in 2024

○ Distinguished guests: National Assembly members, Blue Cross directors and operating committee members, Lao Embassy, ​​celebrity public relations ambassadors, media reporters, sponsoring companies, etc.

○ Supplies: Materials to decorate sneakers, such as coloured permanent marker or marker, pen, and idea sketch.

*We will prepare the sneakers and message cards!

-How to participate in the event-

1) If you wish to participate in the sneaker-sending event, please deposit 10,000 won per person (5,000 won per person for Bluecross Angel members) to the account below.

*Sponsorship account: Woori Bank 1005-903-999569 (Account holder: Blue Cross Corporation)

2) If you wish to receive volunteer hours, please leave a private comment with your name, school, grade, mobile phone number, date of birth (regarding issuance of volunteer certificate), 1365 ID, address (city, district), and angel number (for those who have one) on '12/23. Please leave a note saying, 'I am applying for wings at Healing Shoes' (required for volunteer certification)

As a sponsor who encourages the Bluecross Medical volunteer activities and practices regular donations, you can apply directly on the website. We provide various sponsor benefits so that you can share the joy of regular donations with a small amount (starting from 5,000 won per month for students, regular donations) Available from 10,000 won).

 

- What was delivered -

* If you leave a comment saying, 'Your application has been submitted', you can come to the event location with supplies to decorate your sneakers by 9:30 on the day

(the reception area is expected to be crowded for receiving sneakers and message cards, so please arrive with plenty of time to spare).

* Adults must bring a resident registration or ID card to enter the National Assembly Hall.

* Due to the preparation of sneakers, sneakers will be provided only to those who leave the comment as private below after donating, and the sneakers will be delivered to children in Laos along with medical volunteer work directly by the Bluecross Medical Volunteer in 2024.

* Even if you do not attend on the day, your donation will not be refunded and will be fully used to provide sports shoes and medicine to Laos students (a donation receipt can be issued for tax deduction).

[Information on sneaker decoration materials]

- Permanent marker. (Do not use the a water-based marker as it may smudge)

- You can also attach decorations such as beads and cubics using glue.

- You can search for pretty pictures on the Internet and sketch them while looking at them

- Seniors with difficulty drawing can sign and submit their sneakers or ask the staff for help.

- You must personally prepare decoration materials such as permanent marker pens.
